The transmitter has 4 buttons:

The system can memorize up to 4 transmitters.

ARMING: Press button 1 once, the siren will respond with one chirp and one flashing light to confirm that the system has been armed

If system responds with three long chirps, it means that a door or trunk is not closed properly. The system will bypass the affected zone and will continue to protect the other zones.

?

SILENT ARMING (Without siren confirmation): Press button 3 e immediately press button 1. Lights will flash once to confirm that the system has been armed

?

?

?

AUTOMATIC ARMING: The system will automatically arm itself 30 seconds after closing the last door, hood or trunk. When the last door is closed, the lights will flash twice confirming the beginning of the 30 seconds countdown.

?

?

?

Opening any door before 30 seconds will suspend the automatic rearming which will begin again after closing the last door, hood or trunk. To prevent the automatic arming when someone is inside the car, turn the ignition to ON and then to OFF. The LED will turn Off.

?

?

When the system is armed, the LED will continuously and slowly flash indicating that the system is ready to protect the vehicle.

?

?

?

If the system is connected to the door locks, windows and the starter kill relay, each time the system is armed the doors will be locked, the windows will close automatically and the engine starter will be disabled.?

?

?

?

ALARM WARNING WITHOUT AUTOMATIC ARMING: If the automatic arming feature is disabled, 3 seconds after closing the last door, the siren will respond with 3 long chirps to remind that the system has to be armed manually.

?

?

?

DISARMING: Press the button 2 twice, the siren will respond with 2 chirps and 2 flashing lights. Door locks will not close if the central blocking is installed with the system.

?

?

?

When disarming the system, If the siren responds with 4 chirps instead of 2 and with 4 flashing lights, the system is indicating that it was triggered while armed. Checking the vehicle is advised.

?

?

?

DISARMING WITH SOUNDING SIREN: Press button 1 or button 2 once to silence the siren and immediately press button 2 to disarm the system.

?

EMERGENCY MANUAL DISARMING WITHOUT TRANSMITTER:

?

1.- Open the vehicle using the key and put it on the switch

?

2.- Turn the ignition to ON

?

3.- Press the valet button 6 times

?

4.- The siren will chirp twice and the system will automatically disarm.

?

If the Pin Code feature is enabled, the programmed code has to be entered and 2 seconds after the system will automatically disarm. When an incorrect code is entered, turn the ignition to OFF and immediately to ON to enter the code to disarm the system.

PERMANENT DISARM ? VALET MODE: Use this feature when the vehicle is taken to service.

?

VALET MODE VIA TRANSMITTER:

VALET MODE VIA VALET BUTTON: Valet button was installed to a hidden place inside the vehicle.

?

1.- Turn the ignition to ON position

3.- keep the button valet pressed for 5 seconds

?

When entering valet mode with any of the 2 alternatives, the LED will remain On to indicate that the system is disabled. However, the transmitter will be able to close the door locks by pressing button 1 and lights will flash once. By pressing button 2 the door locks will be opened and lights will flash twice. The panic and open trunk feature will also be available.

?

?

?

The procedure to reestablish the system is the same as to enter valet mode. This time the LED will turn Off to indicate that the system is normally operating.

?

?

?

PASSIVE ANTI CAR-JACKING: When this feature is enabled, even if the system is disarmed with the transmitter, the vehicle engine will remain blocked. To unblock it, the following procedure is needed:

?

1.- Press button 2 to disarm the system

?

2.- With the ignition in Off position, with or without the key, press the valet button twice and the engine will be unblocked.

?

3.- Turn the ignition to On and star the vehicle without any problem.

?

?

?

AUTOMATIC REARMING: After disarming the system with the transmitter, if any door is opened between 30 seconds, it will automatically rearm.

?

?

?

DOOR, HOOD AND TRUNK PROTECTION: If any door, hood or trunk is opened while the system is armed, the siren will sound for 90 seconds, the engine will remain blocked and the lights will flash continuously.

?

?

?

When a door is left opened, the siren will sound by 5 cycles of 90 seconds each. When the fifth cycle is finished, the system will arm to protect the vehicle but bypassing the affected zone.

?

?

?

When an attempt to start the vehicle occurs while the system is armed, the siren will sound for 180 seconds, the engine will remain blocked and the lights will continuously flash. But if a door is left opened the siren will sound by 5 cycles of 180 seconds each. When the fifth cycle is finished, the system will arm to protect the vehicle but bypassing the affected zone.

2 STAGES PRE-WARNING SHOCK SENSOR: If the vehicle is softly hit, the system will respond with 5 short fast chirps and lights will flash 5 times but, if the vehicle is strongly hit, the system will sound for 30 seconds and lights will flash for the same amount of time.

?

ONE TIME SHOCK SENSOR BYPASS: Press once the button1 to arm the system and immediately after, press button 3. The siren will respond with another chirp to indicate that the system has been armed but without the shock sensor protection.

?

?

?

ONE TIME SENSOR AND DOOR PROTECTION BYPASS: Press once the button1 to arm the system and immediately after, press button 2. The siren will respond with another chirp to indicate that the system has been armed but without the shock sensor protection, neither it will protect doors, hood or trunk.

?

?

PANIC FEATURE: keep the button 3 pressed for 3 seconds and the siren will sound for 30 seconds. To cancel this feature press button 1 or button 2 once and the siren will stop sounding.

?

?

?

CAR FINDER: keep the button 1 pressed for 3 seconds and the siren will respond with 6 chirps and the lights will also flash 6 times to facilitate the localization of the vehicle. This feature can only be used if the system is armed.

?

?

?

TRUNK RELEASE: press the button 4 for 1 second and the trunk will automatically open. If the vehicle does not have an original electric trunk, an universal one can be acquired.

?

?

?

DOOR LOCK MANIPULATION VIA TRANSMITTER: If a central door locking system is connected to the car alarm system, the door locks will open when the system is armed and will close when the system is disarmed. With the vehicle started, press button 1 to close the locks and button 2 to open them.

?

?

?

AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK: If a central door locking system is connected to the car alarm system, starting the vehicle will automatically close door locks and turning it off will automatically open them. A open door will not allow the door locks to close when starting the vehicle.

?

?

?

DOME LIGHT: Each time the system is disarmed, the dome light will turn on for 30 seconds to see inside the vehicle and will turn off when the ignition is turned ON, the vehicle is started or when the system is armed.

?

?

?

ANTI CAR-JACKING VIA TRANSMITTER: With the vehicle started or the ignition turned to ON, simultaneously press button 1 and button 2 for 3 seconds, the anti car-jacking will be activated.

?

ANTI CAR-JACKING BY DOOR OPENING: With the vehicle started or the ignition turned to ON, opening and closing the door will activate the anti car-jacking.

?

?

?

ANTI CAR-JACKING BY IGNITION: Each time the vehicle is started or the ignition turned to ON, the anti car-jacking will be activated.

?

?

?

ANTI CAR-JACKING BY PROXIMITY: With the vehicle started or the ignition turned to ON, if the presence or proximity transmitter is far from the vehicle or the transmitter is turned off, the anti car-jacking will be activated.

?

?

?

After activation with any of the four alternatives, lights will flash twice. After 30 seconds the LED will flash quickly. The siren will respond with continuous short chirps, lights will flash intermittently, after 15 seconds the engine will start to block and after another 15 seconds the vehicle will turn off and remain blocked. If the system is connected to the door locks and windows, they will automatically close when the engine turns off.

ANTI CAR-JACKING DEACTIVATION:?With the vehicle started or the ignition turned to ON, press once the valet button and the anti car-jacking will be deactivated. It is not necessary to wait for the siren to activate or the vehicle to turn off to deactivate the anti car-jacking as this can be done at any moment.

?

?

?

PIN CODE (PERSONAL SECURITY CODE): When this feature is activated, it will always be necessary to introduce the default or personal (in case this was changed) PIN CODE in order to use the following features:

?

- Emergency manual disarming without transmitter

?

- Anti Car-Jacking deactivation

?

?

?

PIN CODE PROGRAMMING: If activated, the default PIN CODE is 4 which means that the valet button must be pressed 4 times to cancel anti car-jacking or for the emergency manual disarming.

?

?

?

To change the default PIN CODE, the following procedure must be followed:

?

1.- Enter valet mode

?

2.- Turn the ignition to Off

?

3.- Change the key position 3 times from Off to On as follows:

?

(Off-ON) (Off-ON) (Off-ON) (Off)

?

4.- The siren will respond with one chirp to confirm that the PIN CODE programming mode has been entered.

?

5.- The new PIN CODE can be any number from 1 to 9, which is the number of times that the valet button has to be pressed.

?

Example: If the desired PIN CODE will be 6, then the valet button has to be pressed 6 times.

?

6.- After introducing the new PIN CODE the siren will respond with the same number of chirps as the new memorized PIN CODE.

?

7.- Then the siren will emit 2 chirps to indicate that the system has exit the programming mode and that it has returned to disarmed mode.

?

?

?

If the new PIN CODE can not be remembered and it is different from 4, the following procedure must be done to restore the PIN CODE to its default 4:

?

1.- Turn the ignition to ON

?

2.- Open any door

?

3.- Press 3 times the valet button keeping it pressed the last time for 10 seconds

?

4.- The system will enter disarm mode and the PIN CODE will be restored to its default (4)

?

?

?

JUMPERS PROGRAMMIN

TRASMITTER PROGRAMMING

?

1.- Turn the ignition to ON

?

2.- Press the valet button for 5 seconds. The LED will remain on (valet mode)

?

3.- Press the valet button 5 times and the siren will respond with several long and short chirps to indicate the system has entered programming mode.

?

4.- Press the valet button the number according to the feature desired (see programming table)

?

Example:

?

- Pressing the valet button 8 times will cause the siren to respond with 1 long chirp and 3 short chirps to confirm the system is in the programmable feature number 8

?

- Pressing the valet button 14 times will cause the siren to respond with 2 long chirp and 4 short chirps to confirm the system is in the programmable feature number 14

?

The desired programmable function can be entered without any particular order.

?

?

5.- Press the button from the transmitter that corresponds to the feature number

?

6.- When the feature programming has changed the siren will respond with 1 to three chirps to confirm the button that was pressed.

?

7.- The system will exit the programming mode 10 seconds after not receiving any signal or when turning the ignition to Off. The siren will respond with 3 chirps to indicate that the chosen programming have been stored into the system memory..

?

EXPLANATION OF SOME PROGRAMABLES FEATURES

INTELLIGENT SIREN:

?

ON: Pre-warning ? 5 continuous chirps

?

Trigger by sensor ?Tones 1 and 2

Trigger by doors, hood or trunk ? Tones 1, 2, 3 and 4

Trigger by ignition or ignition attempt ? 6 complete tones

SENSOR INPUTS

?

RADAR: The sensors input will only work as a pre-warning and the siren will always send radar-like sounds

?

1 STAGE (Without pre-warning): The sensors input will not have pre-warning and on activation by sensor, the system will trigger exactly as when triggering by door opening

?

2 STAGES (with pre-warning): The sensors input will work normally: soft hit with a pre-warning. Strong hit will trigger the siren for 30 seconds.

?

Note: To install the radar, connect it to the sensor input activating the radar option and the shock sensor connected to the door triggering negative wiring.

?

?

PIN CODE

?

If activated, the PIN CODE will have to be used to cancel the anti car-jacking and the emergency manual deactivation feature.

?

?

ANTI CAR-JACKING BY PROXIMITY ? OPTIONAL FEATURE

?

To use this feature, a proximity transmitter is required (not included with the system)

?

ON: If the system does not receive a signal from the transmitter, the anti car-jacking will be activated

Off: Disabled feature

RESETTING THE SYSTEM: To reset the system and roll back the features to its default settings, the following procedures must be followed:

?

1.- Turn the ignition to ON or start the vehicle.

?

2.- Keep the valet button pressed for 5 seconds. The LED will remain ON.

?

3.- Press the valet button 5 times and the siren will respond with several long and short chirps to indicate the system has entered programming mode.

?

4.- Keep the button 4 from the transmitter pressed for 5 seconds and the siren will respond with 6 chirps and the lights will also flash 6 times to confirm that the system has been reset.

?

To exit the programming feature turn the ignition to Off and the siren will respond with 3 chirps to indicate that the new settings have been satisfactory saved into the system memory.

TRANSMITTER CODIFICATION

?

1.- turn the ignition to ON

?

2.- Press the valet button 5 times. The siren will respond with 3 chirps.

?

3.- Press any button from the first transmitter to be coded. The siren will respond with 1 chirp.

?

4.- Press any button from the second transmitter to be coded. The siren will respond with 2 chirps. Continue with the 3rd?and 4th?transmitter with 3 and 4 siren chirps respectively.

?

5.- Immediately the siren will respond with 2 long chirps to confirm the coding and that the system has exit the transmitter codification.

?

If after 10 seconds from the 2nd?step, any transmitter has been coded, the system will automatically exit the transmitter codification.

?

The proximity transmitter must be in Off mode but must be coded exactly as any other normal transmitter.

?

When adding a new transmitter, all the transmitters have to been coded as the old codes change a security measure.

?

The four spaces from the memory can be filled with any transmitter
